Way to Success: Turn-on 10 essential things before starting new Business

Starting a small business can be extremely exciting and challenging. It can lead to great personal and financial rewards in the future, but you will likely face a number of challenges when starting out. Business is like a wheel barrow. Nothing happens until you start pushing. The demands on your time may be greater than you anticipated, and enough money to keep things going can also be a problem. With some careful planning, you can anticipate some of these challenges and will be able to overcome them.

Most entrepreneurs leave their secure jobs to dive into the chaotic world of business. When entrepreneurs leave their jobs to become a business owner, most experience a culture shock. Also, contrary to a salaried employee, business owners are in charge of the entire day-to-day functions of your business. Our industry experts have given several definitions about the Entrepreneur and Entrepreneurship.
Entrepreneurship
  • "Entrepreneurship is a way of thinking, reasoning and acting that is opportunity obsessed, holistic in approach and leadership balanced."
  • Scott Shane (Case Western) – "Entrepreneurship is an activity that involves the discovery, evaluation and exploitation of opportunities to introduce new goods and services, ways of organizing, markets, processes, and new materials through organizing efforts that previously had not existed."
  • Howard Stevenson (Harvard) – "The pursuit of opportunity without regard to resources currently controlled."
Entrepreneur
  • An entrepreneur is an economic agent who unites all means of production- land of one, the labour of another and the capital of yet another and thus produces a product. By selling the product in the market he pays rent of land, wages to labour, interest on capital and what remains is his profit. He shifts economic resources out of an area of lower and into an area of higher productivity and greater yield. (Jean-Baptiste)
  • An entrepreneur searches for change, responds to it and exploits opportunities. Innovation is a specific tool of an entrepreneur hence an effective entrepreneur converts a source into a resource. (Peter Drucker)
But all the definitions and characteristics are not enough to make the enterprises successful. An entrepreneur should have capability to overcome with the key challenges.

Today we are wondering to review many examples around us to understand the Entrepreneurship Direction.
Michael Dell (Dell Computers), Frank Carney (Pizza Hut), Fred DeLuca (Subway), Sunil Mittal (Bharti Enterpreses), Sachin and Binny Bansal (Flipkart), Shiv Nadar (HCL Infosystems), Shyam Bhartia (Jubilant Foodworks Ltd.), V G Siddhartha (Café coffee Day), Mangal PRabhat Lodha (Lodha Developers), G.M. Rao (GMR Group), Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, Ajay Bijli (PVR Cinema), Namit Malhotra (Prime Focus Ltd.), Ronnie Screwvala(UTV), Sanjeev Bikhchandani(Naukri.com), Deep Kalra (Makemytrip), Subhash Chandra (Zee TV)
All above leaders are recognised by their milestones. They are creators of success. It came because of their ability to find out key challenges and over come. We are going to discussed below the key challenges of starting any business.
Challenges of Starting a Business as Entrepreneur
"Starting a business is like jumping out of an airplane without a parachute. In mid air, the entrepreneur begins building a parachute and hopes it opens before hitting the ground." – Rich Dad
I have trust that most of us are agree with Mr Rich Dad. But between Success and Entrepreneur only 2 things are very vital. 1. Taking the right decision 2. Making the step ahead every day.
These 2 attributes can change the entire thought process and create the success path for future. We are trying to cover all the major challenges of a new Entrepreneur below.
Challenges of Starting a Business from Scratch
  1. 1.       Crafting the Vision and Business Idea
Entrepreneur should be visionary leader. He/she should possess the ability to see what others cannot see. It can be problems for other but must see it as opportunity
"There is far more opportunity than there is ability." – Thomas Edison
But forecasting opportunities is just the beginning point of the journey. The main business challenge is going to be ability to counterfeit that opportunity into a proposed business idea. I see this as a business challenge because the process of transforming problems into business opportunities is like trying to turn lead into gold. I call it the entrepreneurial process of "Creating Value out of nothing"; a process that brings innovative products into existence. Below is an illustration of how the process goes.
  • Identifying a problem >Seeing an opportunity in the problem > Coming up with a solution > Forging the opportunity into a business idea > Integrating your solution into a business plan
    1. 1.       Raising Capital for to Start-up Business
After developing the business idea, the next challenge entrepreneur is going to face when starting a business from scratch is that of raising capital. As an entrepreneur, he/she is the only one that knows business your idea to the core. Only he/she is the designer of future story and success
"Capital can do nothing without brains to direct it." – J. Ogden Armour
Trying to convince investors about something that doesn't exist is definitely a challenge. It is always a big challenge especially when you are going to start your first initiative. It can happen only if you make investors understand that this idea is going to delivery in the future and trustworthy.
"If you want to know the value of money, go and try to borrow some." – Benjamin Franklin
There is more to raising capital than just simply asking for money. Most investors want to invest in already established businesses with minimal risk and they want to be sure that they get returns for the risk they took. Most brilliant business ideas never scale through the venture capital stage because the entrepreneur is either not prepared or lacks what it takes to raise the needed capital. Just as my mentor, Robert Kiyosaki says:
"The world is filled with brilliant ideas and excellent products but the world lacks seasoned entrepreneurs." – Robert Kiyosaki
    1. 2.       Assembling Strategic Business Leader/s
"Eagles don't flock, you have to find them one at a time." – Henry Ross Perot
The third business challenge Entrepreneur will face in the course of starting a small business from scratch is assembling the right business management leaders. When we talk about a team, I am not talking about regular employees. I am talking about a "Strategic Round Table Business Leader" that will meet regularly to brainstorm on ways to grow your business.
"Individuals don't win in business, teams do." – Sam Walton
The process of building a business team starts even before the issue of raising initial start-up capital arises. Remember I said that most brilliant ideas never scale through the phase of raising venture capital. Well; this is where most budding entrepreneurs miss it. Most brilliant ideas and products never get funded because the entrepreneur is trying to raise capital as an individual. A business team is a vital, yet often ignored key to raising venture capital successfully.
"Business and investing are team sports." – Rich Dad
    4. Finding the Perfect Business Location
Is finding a good location/s a business challenge? It is always a puzzle for people but as per my opinion finding a suitable business location/s at the right price, utilities and other resources are definitely not easy. How do you get a location that has a rapidly growing population, good road network and other amenities at a good price?  As a entrepreneur you need to find out solutions for all these question before execution of your business strategy
  • 5. Discovery Good Employees suitable to business
"If you own a butcher shop, don't hire vegetarians. To hire the right people, you have to let the wrong people go." – Rich Dad
Today's most of the organizations are suffering problems with suitable Employees. An organization can rise the fund, manage the fund, purchase the materials and machine but they can not manufacture the Employees. Most writers and managers crank up the process of finding good employees as an easy task. They define the process of finding an employee as simply presenting the job description and the right employee will surface. But I think it's more than that.
"The competition to hire the best will increase in the years ahead. Companies that give extra flexibility to their employees will have the edge in this area." – Bill Gates
Business owners know how difficult it is to find a hardworking, trustworthy employee. Most employees want to work less and get paid more. Finding a good employee who will be passionate about delivering his or her services is quite difficult.
    6. Identify the Good Customers
The sixth challenge Entrepreneur will face in the process of starting a small business from scratch is finding good customers. Note the keyword "good customers." In the process of building a business, you will come to find out that there are good customers as well as bad customers. You must be on guard for bad customers. Good customers are really hard to find. A good customer will be loyal to the company and will be still maintain relationship if internal team make a mistake and apologize. A good customer will try to do the right thing that will benefit both himself and company mutually.
"Thank God for my customers. They buy my products before they are perfected." – Henry Ford
For start up company people will not support easily especially bad customers will always look for loopholes in the company's policy to exploit and make a few gains. Bad customers will always try to exploit the company's goodwill and look for ways to rip off the company. Bad customers are responsible for bad debts. Good customers build your business and bad customers will always try to liquidate the business.
    7. Managing the Competition at Market Place
"In business, the competition will bite you if you keep running. If you stand still, they will swallow you." – Victor Kiam
Competition is the next challenge which Entrepreneur will face when starting a new venture. We can not tell that we should feel bad about the competition but it is a challenge for new people to over come and handle you market effectively. It helps us to create the benchmark for creativity, the main engine that stimulates innovation and production of quality products at great prices. Without competition, there will be no innovation and without innovation, the world will be stagnant.
"If you don't have a competitive advantage, don't compete." – Jack Welch
We should look competition as a welcomed challenge which helps us to improve our market reach to product development. It gives esprit to young start to deliver their best to compete competition at market place. Competition keeps us on our toes and drives us to constantly improve our products and services. But Entrepreneur must be warned. Competition can make your business lose its relevance in the eye of your customers so you must always be on guard.
"The competitor to be feared is one who never bothers about you at all but goes on making his own business better all the time." – Henry Ford
    8. Unforeseen Business Challenges and Expenses
"Smooth seas seldom make good sailors." – Anonymous
Just as a sailor prepares for unexpected storm, just as a pilot is always on the watch for unpredictable bad weather and thunderstorms, so must an entrepreneur prepared for whatever comes. Unexpected challenges can come in the form of:
    • Unexpected law suits
    • Inconsistent government policy
    • Not being able to make payroll
    • Unpaid bills and taxes
    • Unexpected resignation of staff from sensitive office
    • Bad debts from customers
    • Loss of market share
    • Dwindling working capital
    • Inadequate stock or inventory
"A company's ability to respond to an unplanned event, good or bad is a prime indicator of its ability to compete." – Bill Gates
These business challenges, if not handled properly can ruin your plan to build a successful business. Another challenge you must expect is an unforeseen increase in business expenses. If not handled properly, it might result in constant negative cash flow and eventually; business failure.
    9. Keeping Up With Industrial Changes and Trends
"In three years, every product my company makes will be obsolete. The only question is whether we will make them obsolete or somebody else will." – Bill Gates
Change in trends is a challenge Entrepreneur must be prepared for when starting a business. Trends have made and broken lot of businesses. We need to understand lot of profitable businesses that have been wiped out by slight industrial changes and trends. A typical example is the Dot com trend, where many established industrial based businesses were wiped out by new web based dot com companies.
"How fast a company can respond in an emergency is a measure of its corporate reflexes." – Bill Gates
When the Dot com era began, business owners were left with only two options. Either they join the dot com train or they get crushed by the dot com train. Seasoned entrepreneurs know that trend is a friend and are always willing to swiftly adjust their business to the current trend. Keeping your eyes open to spot trends is really a challenge but the big task will be your ability to quickly use the trend to your advantage.

     10. Exit Strategy
"In the world of business and investing, your exit is more important than your entry. A good thumb of rule is this; exit before you enter." – Robert Kiyosaki
Before starting a business, it is advisable to plan an exit. Lack of an exit plan is the primary reason why most businesses crumble after some problems or founder absence. An exit strategy is very important to the long term survival of a business. Now how do you plan an exit strategy? There are benchmarks you can use to determine your exit from any business.
Most smart entrepreneurs will use a certain benchmark as a target and once this specific target is reached, they exit the business. Examples of such benchmarks are:
    • Annual sales
    • Annual Turnover
    • Asset Base
    • Market Saturation
    • Customer base, subscribers or number of users
Now when it comes to exiting a business, there are three strategies you can apply. You can choose to exit a business in any of the following ways:
    a) Turning over the business to professional managers
When your business reaches a certain stage of maturity, you can exit by turning it over to professional managers. In this case, the business still belongs to you but you are not involved with its day to day affairs. You will have to give up administrative role to competitive person. When you exit in this manner, you will have more free time to look at other projects or retire.
    b) Selling the business privately
In this case, Entrepreneur is exiting the business by selling it to a private investor. In the business world, it is called M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions). Exiting your business this way means that after the sale and transfer of assets is complete, you have nothing to do with the business again.
    c) Taking the company public
The unique thing about this type of exit strategy is that while you are selling your business (in form of shares) to public investors, you still maintain control over the business. It is always suggested to consult your legal advisor or consultant before taking or crafting any exit strategy. but always remember "your exit is more important than your entry."
As a final note, I want to state clearly that challenges come only to make you stronger; so don't faint in the face of challenges. Stand tall; keep moving your business forward and I will see you at the top.

Secret to Making Money Online - On Page SEO

On the off chance that you don't get the fundamentals of on-page SEO right, you have just about no shot of securing top spots for centered key articulations, paying little heed to the way that you've got an astonishing exertion and PR campaign and a great association profile! It's an average mistake to negligence the essentials of SEO and focus on getting associations instead of what's in your control… the improvement of your own site. On-page SEO is the foundation to your campaign. Hit the nail on the head and you'll succeed on the web searchers, get it wrong and you'll never hit the top, whatever else you do.

In perspective of this present, here's a compact manual for getting on-page SEO right, looking at the essentials and also exchange essentials you need to ensure are situated up in case you have to outrank your adversaries. SEO is continually progressing, however this should set you straightforwardly through the accompanying few months unless anything startling labels along. I will discuss three basic parts of On Page SEO here.
1. Labels for Titles
Ensure you put your crucial urgent word and mixed bags in the title tag of a page. Consistently ensure you concentrate on one crucial significant word and assortments for each page and don't endeavor and trap the web pursuit instruments by streamlining diverse pages for the same catchphrase. Make your title tag in a trademark way which uses your essential enchantment word at the start with assortments included too. Consider what looks regular and will entice searchers to click on your site.
Obviously, Google would indicate around 80 characters of a title label however since late redesigns, they're as of now demonstrating centered around pixel width. There sadly never again is a charm number for to what degree a title mark should be, yet Moz has an uncommon device (which you can find here) which provides for you an opportunity to audit what title marks will appear like in Google's latest overhaul.
Contribute time amassing title marks which consolidate your essential catchphrases for a page besides look basic, aren't stacked down with enchantment words and read well! There's nothing more frightful than spammy, over redesigned titles!
2. Depiction - Meta Content
Meta depictions don't help as a situating banner any more, yet they're still a phenomenally basic part of on-page headway. They're the first presentation potential customers get with your brand, so it pays to get them right.
Meta depictions should be exquisitely made, pretty almost 150 characters and fundamentally an arrangements pitch for what the presentation page is about. Essentially as with title names, don't spam or over streamline and reliably consider what meets desires for customers before the web records.
3. Labels - For Headings
On the off chance that you're not using H marks inside an imperative way, you should be! Starting with your pages' H1 label, ensure you utilize headings adequately without over-enhancing them. Place your rule significant word in a H1 name, again checking it meets desires for customers before web files, and part whatever is left of your substance up with climbing H names… H2 comes next then H3. You get the picture. One thing to review is to simply use one H1 tag. Others could be used various times if vital.
Don't keep repeating your rule target unequivocal word in every one name, rather use mixed bags which enhance the estimation of the substance and help part it up into conceivable and easy to process regions. These names essentially hail the dropping hugeness of page headings so think deliberately as to which name should be used as a piece of every one requirement.
Thus, it should be clear that building quality backlinks is not only enough, you should focus equally or more on On Page SEO for success.

Persuasive Speech Topics – Finding Speech Topics to Persuade and Rock the Audience!

Having a tough time deciding on what persuasive speech topics to talk about? Don't sweat it. In this article, you'll discover some amazing tips to easily find persuasive speech topics that will keep your audience listening to your every word.

First, you must know your target audience very well. Know their age, sex, educational attainments and career experiences. Find out what their beliefs, dreams and goals are. What keeps them excited or awake at night? What makes them tick?

If possible, know their personal, cultural, social, religious and political backgrounds. This will prevent you from saying something that might be offensive to a particular race or culture.

Then based on the information gathered from your audience, list down a list of persuasive speech ideas that might fit their personality, status or background. Remember that the worst thing you could do is deliver a boring speech, so try to come up with controversial yet useful subject matters.

List down persuasive speech topics that will benefit them. Remember they're always thinking of "WIIFM" (What's In It For Me?). If they don't see any good results or advantage for listening to your speech, they won't be interested or responsive.

After you've listed down your topics, check those items that you either are an authority in or are very familiar with. Your audience will look up to people with authority. If they perceive you as someone who is an expert in a subject, they would be more likely to listen to you and accept your viewpoints.

But even if you're not familiar with any subject, as long as you're passionate about it, you can still choose that topic. Just do proper research over the internet and libraries to come up with your persuasive speech ideas.

During your research, take note of the most interesting or helpful facts that might astound your audience. Keep an open mind and relate how your research can solve their problems or improve any aspect of their life.

Some people are naturally skeptical, so show proof to validate your claims. Gather statistics, facts, testimonials, endorsements, presentations, case studies or true stories. Make sure you note down the source or reference.

Finding persuasive speech topics is easy if you follow the guidelines above. Simply give your audience the information they want to hear, and you'll do a fantastic job. Best of luck to you!

Money As Motivation

However, this is not true. In fact, the vast majority of lawyers and attorneys work incredibly hard to secure clients, forge relationships with other attorneys and often without every receiving a dime.

I can remember when my father was studying for the Bar exam. He spent hours upon hours each night after he would get home from work, studying at the dining room table. Books thicker than I would have ever imagined lay sprawled out all over the table printed in a typeface that I was convinced you would need a magnifying glass in order to read without getting a headache. In the end, he wound up successfully passing the bar exam and now has his own law practice. Sure, money may have been a motivating factor for him, but more importantly, he wanted a career change. He had been making an excellent six-figure salary with the previous corporation he worked for, but it wasn't enough. He wanted to be his own boss.
So often, it is the American dream to be able to work for ourselves. Especially in this day and age, with the economy in a recession, people are finding more creative ways to work from home and be their own supervisor. Granted, there are some of us who benefit greatly from going in to an actual work place with an office because we may lack the discipline to maintain a regular work schedule otherwise. And while money is always a motivating factor for all of us (because, face it-we need money to live), it does not have to define us. In a time where so many people are being laid off from their jobs- jobs and careers that they have held for years- instead of being disappointed or upset, they are happy for the opportunity to have some time to figure out what it is that they really want to be doing with their life.
Sometimes, if you focus too much on money, you tend to lose focus of everything else in your life- or at least the things that once were important (I.e. family, friends, extra curricular activities). While it is important to make sure that you are financially secure, is it so important that your entire life becomes centered around earning as much money as you can. Instead, we have to find a balance between work and play. Think of how much happier children are. They are constantly learning and experiencing new things. Then, as soon as they start to get older, they play less- they experience less. Sure, you may travel every now and then or go on vacation, but too often, we don't even enjoy ourselves as we should because we are worrying about how much money we have left or how much dinner is going to cost- or those snorkeling lessons that you signed up for. Re-think how much money it would take for you to be financially secure and then start focusing on how to enjoy life!

Buying Established Turnkey Website Business

As the purchaser, you have control over the creative design which takes place in coordination with the seller who usually has the technical expertise.

The Internet offers a wide range of business opportunities from job searching through various engines to starting your own home business. One of the growing markets right now is being able to work from the comfort of your own home. By running your own company online you can set your work schedule, determine profit goals, and appeal to a larger market than having a simple storefront. Buying an established turnkey website business is an easy way to get started whether you are new to the web or an experienced entrepreneur.

There are two types of business sites that you can purchase online. The established website is exactly how it sounds. It is a site that is already active, has a domain name, and, if running well, has a monetary cash flow. There is not a lot of input needed so for an individual who is looking to start their own business from the ground up this is not the ideal beginning. Turnkey websites have the technical foundation completed but with the availability of building and modification based on personal preference.

This means that there is no domain name, no logo and no keywords set up. As the purchaser, you have control over the creative design which takes place in coordination with the seller who usually has the technical expertise. You will provide your preferred domain name or choose from an available list, establish color schemes and logo and marketing geared towards your target audience.

Part of building a successful online business is incorporating important key words for search purposes, including advertising banners which can bring in additional income and creating a catchy title and a site that draws users in. Once the template is completed to your satisfaction and you are ready to move forward then the final steps will be accomplished for the purchase. This is the first step towards your new career. If you were looking for established AdSense websites for sale, look for a reliable service provider.

One of the best benefits is the low overhead for this start up. The initial amount usually includes the site, the modifications and the application. This means that you should be able recover your initial investment rather quickly and start making a profit. Since every web address needs a host you will need to ensure that you have this taken care of or check with the seller who may also offer hosting services. For a small monthly fee you can pay for hosting services as well as maintenance and technical assistance as the need arises after the termination of the promotional period. This is especially helpful if you do not have the computer background to support updates and security. With prominent companies, you will find established turnkey website business for sale.

Your business is your livelihood and your profit is your paycheck. It is up to you to have the best tools at your disposable and a website that is working to its full potential to attract business and keep users coming back time after time. Having the professionals assist leaves nothing to chance and gives you the foundation you need to grow your home office as big and wide as you want it to go.

Social Media Business Trends You Need To Follow

Social media is constantly changing. That means you cannot keep your marketing strategy the same today as it was when you created your first Facebook business page. Always take the time to reevaluate what your goals are, know what your different social networking campaigns are, and what results you have been seeing from each.

There are always new trends that can make a difference in the success or failure of your business' social marketing strategy. Find out what those trends are and apply them to meet your own needs in order to grow your brand online.
Here are five trends that you need to be on top of for the upcoming year:
Don't put all your followers in one basket
Almost every business has a Facebook page these days. As the network with the most active users, your business almost has to be on Facebook in order to have a strong brand presence. But with all of the recent changes that Facebook has been making to its algorithm, business are seeing a big blow to their current reach.
The organic reach that was obtained by creating great content is no longer the way Facebook is letting businesses reach their followers. For many brands, only 6% of their followers are even seeing the content that is posted. The goal of Facebook is to get more brands to start paying in order to maintain a presence on fans' news feeds.
This is why many businesses should not be content to limit their online presence to just Facebook. The free benefits that the social network brought to businesses is dwindling away. Instead, make sure you are engaging with followers on a variety of networks.
Take Google+ more seriously
Google+ is growing in popularity with many businesses these days, and why not? After all, it's a social network that is linked with the biggest search engine on the Internet!
Users see a lot of ranking improvement when they start actively using Google+. Other social networks, like Facebook and Twitter, do not have an effect on your page rank, no matter how many followers you have or tweets you send.
If you haven't already set up a Google+ business page, start on it right now and start taking advantage of all that it has to offer in brand marketing.
Visual content is still the clear winner
Imagery is a big hit with the people who use social media. Just look at the success that Pinterest has had with it's visual-based design. There is no excuse for not incorporating visual content into your posts on your social networks. This can include videos, pictures, and infographics.
Make time to put content on video. Share news stories that are relevant to your industry. Take great photos of your products. Invite your followers to share images of themselves using your products. The possibilities are endless and the results will always be incredible in comparison to plain text posts.
There is no constant when it comes to social media marketing. Sure, Facebook will remain one of the largest platforms out there for some time to come, but it is steadily becoming less of a free marketing platform for businesses.
Always be ready to make changes when they are needed and be prepared for the next big things when it comes to building your brand online.
How are you staying on top of all the changes that are coming in social media?

What Is Social Media Marketing?

If you fall into any one of the following categories, like:
  • the ones who don't know much or anything about social media,
  • the ones who are interested but don't know how to use it and
  • those who don't believe in the value that a social media strategy can bring to any site or business
you must read this article to know how big a deal is social media and the enormous benefits of social media marketing.
Social media is information content created by people using highly accessible and scaleable publishing technologies that is intended to facilitate communications, influence and interaction with peers and with public audiences. This is typically done via the Internet and mobile communications networks. Today this practice is being enjoyed by executives and professionals for brand exposure and marketing.
Do you make these mistakes to market your brand or services?
  • Use Yellow page ads that cost thousands of dollars, yet bring in little new business?
  • Spend money on direct mailers that also have limited results.
  • How about money spent on print advertising. How effective is it?
  • Are you spending lots of money optimizing your website but still have little traffic.
  • Spend money on Pay Per Click Advertising Campaigns, with limited results.
Can you improve your business if you know:
  • What is being said about you.
  • What your customers think about your product or service.
  • What your customers really want.

The value of Marketing through Social Media Channels
Social media marketing is the process of promoting your site or business through social media channels and it is a powerful strategy that will get you links, attention and massive amounts of traffic.Social media marketing is an engagement with online communities to generate exposure, opportunity and sales. The number-one advantage is generating exposure for the business, followed by increasing traffic and building new business partnerships. It is a powerful strategy that will get you links, attention and massive amounts of traffic.
What are the benefits?
It's natural. No doubt you get natural links, your website is exposed to a large number of people. This differs from paid advertising which has overt commercial overtones.
It's defensible. Social communities can be a great source of web traffic on top of any traffic you are already receiving from search engines. While you can't easily increase your search engine traffic, social media traffic can be very easily controlled through strategic marketing.
It's low-cost/high returns. Costs are limited to only time and perhaps the expenses involved in hiring a freelance programmer/designer. The benefits will often exceed the cost. It would take you thousands of dollars to buy many links; social media has the ability to give you that for free.
It complements other efforts. Social media optimization and marketing is usually community-specific. It doesn't interfere with any other methods of getting traffic to your website. It can and will fit perfectly with an advertising campaign targeting other websites or search engines.
There is no other low-cost promotional method out there that will easily give you large numbers of visitors, some of whom may come back to your website again and again. If you are selling products/services or just publishing content for ad revenue, social media marketing is a potent method that will make your site profitable over time.
